Reno Greek Festival Returns September 11–12 with Authentic Greek Food, Live Music, Dancing and Culture

RENO, Nev. — The sights, sounds and flavors of Greece return to Reno this September as the Reno Greek Festival welcomes the community for two days of authentic Greek food, live music, traditional dancing and Greek culture.

The 2026 Reno Greek Festival will take place at St. Anthony Greek Orthodox Church, 4795 Lakeside Drive in Reno, on Friday, September 11 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturday, September 12 from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

A beloved Reno tradition, the festival brings the community together each year to experience Greek culture and the spirit of philoxenia — the Greek tradition of hospitality and welcoming others.

Of course, no Greek festival would be complete without the food. Festivalgoers can enjoy a variety of traditional Greek favorites and homemade pastries while spending the evening listening to live music, watching traditional dance performances and even joining in on the dancing themselves.

The Helios Greek Band will perform live throughout the festival, filling the grounds with traditional and contemporary Greek music.

The festival will also welcome the award-winning Minoan Greek Dancers from Nativity of Christ Greek Orthodox Church in Novato, California. The group will perform traditional Greek dances throughout the weekend, showcasing the music, costumes and traditions that have been passed down through generations.

Visitors interested in learning more about the Greek Orthodox faith and its traditions are invited to take a guided tour of St. Anthony Greek Orthodox Church. Tours provide guests with an opportunity to see the church's Byzantine iconography, learn about Orthodox Christianity and experience another important part of Greek culture and heritage.

With Greek food, pastries, live music, dancing, shopping, church tours and activities for the family, the Reno Greek Festival offers something for guests of all ages.

Whether you're Greek for the weekend or Greek all year long, everyone is invited to eat, dance and celebrate with us.
